Hello Friends of Grey Ghost Weimaraner Rescue, and Happy Spring!

This month, we’re excited to highlight one of our very special donors and volunteers: Wrapped in Love Colorado.

At Grey Ghost Weimaraner Rescue, rescue is about love, belonging, and new beginnings—and we’re proud to recognize Wrapped in Love Colorado as an organization that embodies that spirit.

As Sharon from Wrapped in Love Colorado shared with us, her association with the group began eight years ago when she adopted Annabelle—who came home with a Wrapped in Love blanket of her own. What began as making blankets for rescue distribution soon grew into a larger commitment, with Sharon taking on administration as the group expanded its reach across Colorado.

Today, Wrapped in Love Colorado delivers nearly 2,000 handmade blankets each year to rescues and shelters across the eastern side of the Rockies, from Ft. Collins to Trinidad. Each blanket includes a heart stitched into the corner—a simple but powerful symbol of love for adopted dogs and cats.

For Grey Ghost, these blankets are especially meaningful. Every Weimaraner adopted through our rescue goes to their forever home with a Wrapped in Love blanket, often becoming one of the first things that truly belongs to them. Our own two Grey Ghost rescues still sleep on theirs every night.

Over time, Wrapped in Love blankets become a constant—present through new beginnings, carrying comfort, familiarity, and love in every stitch.

Organizations like Wrapped in Love Colorado create comfort and connection that lasts well beyond adoption day.

From all of us at Grey Ghost Weimaraner Rescue—and from every Weimaraner curled up on a Wrapped in Love blanket—thank you. What you do truly matters.

With heartfelt gratitude,
Grey Ghost Weimaraner Rescue
