We have a wonderful photographer who donates her time to take beautiful pictures of your pet. We charge $10 per picture and proceeds go to Grey Ghost Weimaraner Rescue. There can be several dogs or cats at a time. Pay at the event.

Grey Ghost Weimaraner Rescue will be part of the first ever Doggone Burly Event in Castle Rock.

In partnership with All Points West GSP Rescue and up to 12 other dog-centric vendors, BURLY will be putting on it’s very first Doggone BURLY Event! The BURLY parking lot will be barricaded off a great space for all of the vendors that are to attend as well as for customers to hang out with their best friends and have some beer. Dogs and their owners will both be allowed in the tap room at the same time on this day – yes, a breach of our normal policy, but for this one day, YEAH!! (NOTE: If you bring your doggie, please, please, please keep ’em leashed.)

All dogs are welcome, but more importantly, we want to try to get all of these doggos adopted to new homes with families that will love and that will cherish them as they should be. Even if you can’t adopt a dog, show up and play with them – they’re lonely and would love any kind of attention that comes their way.

Our vendor list, so far, includes KarmaSue, Connors Canine Behavior Academy LLC,  ZoomDog Supplements, The Woffhaus, Brekke Veterinary Clinic, Mobile Pet Shine, Magic & Science Gals, DKI Dogs, Zoo 2 U, Cailyn Cares with more to be announced!

The store will be open for shopping while you are there!

We have been invited to participate in the 3rd Annual Howl-O-Ween Costume Contest & Adoption Fair at Cerebrus Brewing Company.

Bring your pup dressed in their best Howl-O-Ween costume for a chance to win a $100 Cerberus Gift Card! 

The third batch of Buddy Up Pale Ale will be tapped, accompanied by an adoption fair and dog Halloween costume contest! Bring your pup dressed up or adopt a dog and dress them up on the spot!

$1 from each glass of Buddy Up sold will be donated to two of shelters (TBD) to support their mission. 

Cerebrus mission with the Buddy Up program is:
• Support local No Kill Animal Shelters.
• Work to end euthanization of shelter pets due to the lack of a home.
• Promote temporary fostering to help rehabilitate dogs and give them a place to be loved in preparation for their forever homes, and permanent adoption of rescue dogs.
• Educate the public about the realities of the commercial dog breeding industry (puppy mills) and the commodification of pets.

This program is named after Buddy, a pit bull mix that was adopted at the Pikes Peak Humane Society in 2000 by two of the owners of Cerberus. After contracting cancer, Buddy was euthanized at the Colorado Avenue Animal Hospital in 2005, in the building that Cerberus now inhabits. Buddy had many behavioral challenges after being adopted but within a couple years and after lots of love, Buddy became a well adjusted, well-behaved companion. We honor Buddy with this program in the hope that many other dogs can find a solid forever home and all the love they can handle.

Join us for our last adoption event of the season! On October 6th, from 12-2 pm, we will be hosting Grey Ghost Weimaraner Rescue and Saving Doberman Kind! Come meet and greet with these two fantastic breeds!

Also joining us will be Ivan's All Natural Doggie Delights, Suzie's CBD Treats, Tori Tong Handmade, Magic & Science Gals, Pearl Snap Pups and art from Jeffrey A Burke. Along with these wonderful vendors we will have a plethora of items for our raffle!

If you or someone you know would like to help one of these sweet pups find a forever home or if you just want to get out of the house, enter the raffle or pet some cute doggos, stop by and hang out!

Please come and join us on September 16th for a fundraiser at Painting With A Twist!

We will be doing Paint Your Pet!  Once you sign up with the link below, you will receive a confirmation and and email address to send in a photo of the pet you wish to paint.  The artists at PWAT will then sketch your pet on a canvas for you.  You don't have to do that!  All you have to do is apply the paint!  What fun! 

Cost is $55 & a portion goes to Grey Ghost Weimaraner Rescue
