Hello Friends of Grey Ghost Weimaraner Rescue,

This month, we are proud to introduce Louis, one of our very special rescues.

Louis came to the Grey Ghost Weimaraner Rescue from Utah and was born with Carpal Valgus, a condition that causes the paws to turn outward and can affect mobility if left untreated. Before Louis could be adopted, he required corrective surgery to ensure a healthy, comfortable future.

Because of the compassion and support of the Grey Ghost Weimaraner Rescue community, we were able to provide Louis with the medical care he needed — care that truly changed his path forward.

In 2024, Louis was welcomed into his loving Fur-ever Family, where he is now thriving. These days, Louis enjoys hiking adventures, doggy play dates, and even van trips, embracing an active, happy life.

Louis’s journey is a beautiful reminder of what’s possible when a community comes together for dogs in need.
